Door Open Alert System

Cargo security and load integrity are critical concerns for fleet operators and professional drivers. The Maple Door Open Alert System provides real-time alerts of potential cargo breaches, helping prevent theft while actively deterring criminals.

The system is particularly effective for delivery and logistics vehicles, which can be vulnerable to “jump-up” thefts — where organised criminals target stationary or slow-moving vehicles at traffic lights or in heavy traffic.

While the ignition is on, the system automatically monitors the vehicle’s load area doors. If a door is opened while the engine is running, a speech siren immediately activates, announcing:
“ATTENTION – DRIVER NEEDS ASSISTANCE – PLEASE CALL THE POLICE.”

The alarm continues to sound even if the door is closed again, guarding against perpetrators from remaining hidden inside the vehicle. The alert can only be cancelled by the driver performing a covert reset.
