In operation drivers can only gain access to the cargo arear once the ignition has been off and the cab doors are securely locked. Furthermore, IBC ActivLock prevents the engine from being restarted until all load doors have been secured—reducing the risk of theft, loss, or unauthorised access.
IBC ActivLock also includes a built-in emergency access feature for situations where keys are lost or locked inside the vehicle. When emergency access is required, a single-use access code can be generated via Maple’s secure web portal, helping to minimise downtime and disruption to delivery schedules.
