SafeConnect IQ introduces two-factor authentication, ensuring only authorised personnel can couple and move trailers. The system also records key data — including who, when and where each coupling takes place, providing operators with complete visibility and control over their fleet.

SafeConnect in operation:

Once a trailer is ready for collection, the standard coupling procedure is carried out. Before returning to the cab, the driver simply presents their authorised RFID fob, confirming their identity and enabling the trailer brakes to release.

The brakes remain applied until the driver is safely back in the cab, ensuring they are in full control of the vehicle throughout the entire coupling process.

If an attempt is made to move the trailer without presenting an valid fob, the system will not release the trailer brakes, keeping the trailer securely immobilised and preventing unauthorised movement.
